Role Description :

As a Sr Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's databases, ensuring security, integrity, and performance. Your expertise will be key in optimizing data management and supporting the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain database servers and instances.

- Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.

- Monitor database performance and optimize query performance.

- Implement and maintain database security measures.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

- Design, develop, and implement database schemas and data models.

- Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.

- Create and maintain database documentation.

- Integrate data from various sources into the database.

- Ensure data consistency and accuracy.

- Plan for future database growth and capacity requirements.

- Monitor database resource utilization and take proactive measures to optimize performance.

Qualifications :

- Proficient in database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, Sybase, PostgreSQL.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.

- Experience with data integration and ETL processes.

- Understanding of database security best practices.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
