Role & responsibilities

1. Edit raw footage into engaging videos for social media platforms (Reels, YouTube Shorts, Stories).
2. Add effects, transitions, background music, voiceovers, and subtitles.
3. Apply color correction, audio adjustments, and motion graphics.
4. Optimize videos for different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
5. Ensure videos align with the brands tone, style, and messaging.
6. Review final outputs for errors before publishing.
7. Maintain high-quality standards in visuals and sound.
8. Work closely with the content team, graphic designers, and marketing manager
9. Contribute ideas for campaigns to boost engagement and brand visibility.
10. Brainstorming creative ideas for new content formats
11. Ensuring quick turnaround for time-sensitive content

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or related fields.
• Certifications in Video Editing, Digital Marketing, or Social Media Management are a plus.
• 2 to 4 years of proven experience in video editing and social media content creation.
• Portfolio showcasing previous work on Reels, Stories, Posts, and Short Videos for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
• Strong understanding of platform algorithms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)
• Strong storytelling skills with a creative mindset
• Attention to detail for video/audio quality checks
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for health, wellness, and lifestyle content (aligning with the brands niche)
• A proactive approach to suggesting new content ideas
