We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Brand Licensing Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing profitable licensing agreements with a diverse range of partners. You will play a critical role in expanding our brands presence and maximizing the value of our intellectual property. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the brand licensing landscape, exceptional negotiation and communication skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain successful client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify, pursue, and close new licensing opportunities across various categories (e.g., apparel, toys, consumer electronics, food & beverage).
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and identify new licensing opportunities.
Negotiation & Contract Management:
Negotiate and finalize licensing agreements with partners, ensuring terms are favorable and align with brand objectives and legal requirements.
Draft and review licensing contracts, working closely with legal counsel to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initial negotiations to post-contract execution and ongoing relationship management.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key licensees, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Proactively address client concerns and inquiries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance existing partnerships and explore new avenues for collaboration.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to identify new licensing opportunities and optimize existing programs.
Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue generation and achieve long-term brand licensing goals.
Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and legal developments within the brand licensing space.
Marketing & Brand Management:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support licensed product launches and drive consumer engagement.
Ensure that all licensed products adhere to brand guidelines and maintain brand consistency across all channels.
Leverage marketing and branding strategies to enhance the appeal of licensing opportunities to potential partners.
Reporting & Analysis:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze sales data, and prepare regular reports on licensing performance and market trends.
Maintain accurate records of all licensing agreements, correspondence, and financial data.
Provide valuable insights and recommendations to senior management on licensing strategies and business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field.
Relevant Years of proven experience in brand licensing, sales, or a related field.
Strong negotiation and closing skills with a demonstrated track record of success in achieving sales targets.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and identify opportunities.
In-depth understanding of brand licensing laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with licensing.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
