Responsibilities:
- Conduct market and industry research to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Analyze financial statements, valuation models, and other investment metrics to evaluate the attractiveness of potential investments.
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials to support investment recommendations.
- Participate in due diligence efforts, including reviewing legal documents, conducting financial analysis, and identifying key risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to support the transaction execution process, including deal structuring and negotiation.
- Monitor portfolio companies and perform periodic valuations and analysis.
- Support fundraising efforts and investor relations activities.
- Provide analytical support and insight to senior investment professionals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 4-6 years of experience in investment banking or private equity focussed on Healthcare deals.
- Strong understanding of finance and investment principles, including financial modeling and valuation techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
