Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze software requirements (FRS, BRD) to understand system functionality and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.

- Develop and maintain test data for effective test execution.

- Identify, log, and track defects through the entire bug life cycle.

- Design and develop robust automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or other relevant frameworks (Java, Python).

- Maintain and enhance existing automation test suites.

- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of the automation framework.

- Gain an understanding of performance and load testing concepts.

- Participate in performance and load testing activities as needed.

- Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

- Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks clearly and concisely.

- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.

- Experience in testing web-based applications, web services, and ideally, big data systems.

- Proficiency in SQL and database concepts is preferred.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Stay updated on the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

- Proactively identify areas for improvement in testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications :

- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in software testing.

- Strong experience in test case preparation and bug life cycle management.

- Experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

- Experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium, Appium, or equivalent.

- Experience in designing and developing automation test scripts and frameworks (preferably for web applications).

- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC concepts.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Experience with SQL and database concepts is preferred.

- Experience with big data testing is a plus
