Job Description
The Team Leader will manage the production of creative assets, guiding the design process from conceptualization to execution across a wide range of materials. This role requires an experienced designer with a strong command of visualization, ideation, and art direction. The ideal candidate will lead the development of logos, marketing collateral, and presentation designs, while also ensuring brand consistency and quality across all deliverables. As a key part of the creative team, the Team Leader will oversee both independent design work and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that all design solutions align with strategic goals.
Key Responsibility Areas A thorough knowledge of the following is mandatory for the person.
- The Team Leader will manage the creation of high-quality design assets, including logos, magazine layouts, advertisements, PowerPoint presentations, and sales/marketing collateral.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, ideate, and deliver creative solutions that meet both brand and business objectives.
- Lead and direct the design process, overseeing each stage from conceptualization to final execution.
- Ensure visual consistency across all creative assets, maintaining alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Make bold design decisions that push creative boundaries while staying aligned with the company s goals and identity.
- Work independently to manage and deliver projects on time, with high attention to detail and quality.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting design concepts and providing updates on project progress.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the designers, offering feedback and fostering a creative and collaborative team environment.
- Expertise in design software: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, and Acrobat.
- Strong portfolio showcasing work in logo design, magazine layouts, advertising, and sales/marketing collateral.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present and articulate design ideas.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience taking ownership of projects and leading creative teams.
- Highly creative and able to think strategically to deliver innovative design solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects, while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
- Bachelor s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional design experience with a strong portfolio in art direction, branding, and marketing materials.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
- Proven leadership skills with experience guiding design teams, managing projects, and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality designs under tight deadlines.
