Mobile Test Specialist Architect

Candidate Requirement: 

The Test Architect is responsible for establishing a solid foundation for successful testing framework implementation, aiming to enhance software quality, efficiency, and feedback speed within the organization.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Test Strategy Development: Create a comprehensive test strategy that includes frameworks, tools, and best practices to improve software testing processes.
• Framework Design: Architect and maintain a robust test framework supporting various testing types (functional, regression, integration, performance).
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and QA teams to identify automation candidates, define test coverage, and develop test scripts.
• Test Data Management: Develop strategies for managing test data, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security.
• Automation Implementation: Design and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline testing.
• Test Environment Setup: Oversee the setup of test environments that mirror production settings.
• Metrics and Reporting: Define and implement metrics to measure testing effectiveness and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on testing trends and recommend process enhancements.
• Risk Management: Identify testing risks and provide mitigation strategies.
• Bottleneck Analysis: Collaborate to analyze testing bottlenecks and propose optimization solutions.
• Tool Evaluation: Assess and recommend testing tools that align with project needs.
• Mentoring: Guide junior team members on testing methodologies and best practices.
• Project Collaboration: Work with project managers on test activity planning and prioritization.
• Agile/DevOps Participation: Integrate testing within Agile or DevOps practices.
• Training Sessions: Conduct workshops to educate stakeholders on test tools and frameworks.

Must-Have Requirements:

- Extensive experience in software testing/QA, particularly in a Test Architect role.

- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and defect tracking systems.

- Proficient in Agile development practices and experience with Agile teams.

- Experience in mobile testing.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- Leadership skills to mentor junior team members.

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

- Relevant software testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium WebDriver).

- Experience with AccelQ and Fitnesse.

- Background in performance testing.
