Roles and Responsibility Line Manager 5G/telecom
Experience: 10-12 years Work type: Work from office Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Line Manager to lead and manage a team working on cutting-edge 5G telecom projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT services, team management, and hands-on experience in telecom and 5G technologies. This role demands leadership capabilities, technical understanding, and a strategic mindset to deliver excellence in project execution and resource management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team of engineers and developers. Facilitate skill development and performance management for team members. Ensure timely and quality delivery of 5G telecom projects. Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to align team efforts with project goals. Act as a liaison between the team and senior management. Provide regular updates on team performance, project status, and milestones. Support the team in resolving complex technical challenges in 5G (Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3). Stay updated with advancements in telecom technologies and provide guidance to the team. Plan and allocate resources efficiently to meet project demands. Drive hiring and onboarding initiatives for expanding team capacity. Promote best practices in project management, Agile methodologies, and quality assurance. Identify and implement improvements to optimize team performance. Qualifications Skills:
Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Telecommunications, or related fields. 8-10 years of experience in IT services with a focus on telecom and 5G projects. Strong knowledge of 5G technologies, including ORAN and Cloud RAN. Proven experience in managing and mentoring teams. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with DevOps, Agile methodologies, and telecom protocols. Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Agile/Scrum or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2). Experience collaborating with global stakeholders.
