What You'll Do :
As an MLOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operationalization and automation of machine learning models.
Your day-to-day will include :
- Design and implement large-scale cloud infrastructure for microservices, big data, and Machine Learning (ML) architectures.
- Develop and deploy scalable applications using Java or Python, with expertise in full-stack development and Kubernetes-based setups.
- Automate platform workflows and infrastructure with tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and scripting in Python, Java, or Groovy.
- Build and manage big data pipelines using tools like EMR, Redshift, BigQuery, Apache Airflow, and Flink.
- Oversee observability tools such as Dynatrace, ELK, and Service Mesh Architecture (e.g., Anthos).
- Deploy and manage LLM and VLLM models with platforms like GCP, VertexAI and SageMaker.
- Integrate API gateways (e.g., Apigee, APIM, Kong) and optimize content delivery using CDNs.
- Architect event-driven systems with Kafka, SQS, and Pub/Sub, focusing on distributed systems.
- Enhance automation and CI/CD pipelines, implementing DevOps best practices for seamless project delivery.
- Collaborate on systems design, implementing microservices architectures like SAGA, CQRS, and event-driven designs.
What Makes You a Fit :
Academic Background :
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline from a top-tier institution.
- Relevant certifications in areas like Kafka Administration, Kubernetes Administration, GCP Cloud Engineer/Architect, or Elasticsearch are an added advantage.
Technical Expertise :
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in ML Ops, Data Engineering, or related fields, with hands-on experience deploying and managing ML models in production.
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure design, with a focus on AWS and GCP.
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Python, and full-stack development, including Kubernetes and Helm.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) with tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and configuration management tools.
- Hands-on experience with big data tools such as EMR, Redshift, BigQuery, DataProc, and Flink.
- Deep knowledge of observability tools and distributed system technologies.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architectures using Kafka, with Kafka certification preferred.
- Experience deploying ML models, including LLM/VLLM, on platforms like VertexAI and SageMaker.
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Redis).
Extra Skills :
- Familiarity with fintech domains such as digital banking and large-scale payment systems.
- Strong grasp of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipeline setup and automation.
- Advanced knowledge of systems design and patterns like Circuit Breaker, Aggregator, and Distributed Tracing.
- Certifications in Spark cluster management, Kubernetes, or Elasticsearch administration are highly desirable.
