Job Description
General Manager/Business Head- Electronics design and manufacturing startup
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement a long-term strategic vision for the company.
- Drive profitable growth by expanding our service offerings and client base.
- Build technical, sales, HR, Admin, finance & operations team
- Lead and mentor a high-performing leadership team.
- Oversee all operational functions including sales, marketing, finance, and human resources.
- Ensure the highest quality of service delivery for our clients.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies to identify new business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, partners, etc..
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Direct the employee assessment process
- Prepare regular reports for upper management
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
Required candidate profile:
- 15-20 years of experience in Electronics system design and manufacturing industry is must.
- Prior startup experience with building a firm from the ground up is essential.
- At least five years of experience in senior management level positions such as General manager or other senior management positions in Electronics design and manufacturing industry.
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics Engineering is must
- Proven track record of success as a Business head/general manager in Electronics design and manufacturing industry is must
- Strong business acumen with expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and business development.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A results-oriented approach with a focus on exceeding client expectations
Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech(Electrical / Instrumentations / Electronics / E&C)
