Job Overview :
- We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Website Analytics Specialist with expertise in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and data visualization tools.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and optimizing website performance to drive data-informed decisions.
- This role requires a keen ability to translate raw data into actionable insights, as well as an understanding of digital marketing metrics, user behavior, and conversion optimization strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
Google Analytics Management :
- Set up, configure, and maintain Google Analytics (GA4) accounts for website tracking.
- Define and implement event tracking, custom goals, and e-commerce tracking.
- Monitor website performance metrics, including traffic, conversions, bounce rates, session duration, and other KPIs.
- Provide detailed reports and insights on website performance and trends.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate tracking and identify potential issues.
Google Tag Manager Implementation :
- Configure and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) containers to deploy tracking codes, pixels, and tags.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement tracking for marketing campaigns, form submissions, button clicks, and other custom events.
- Troubleshoot GTM setups and ensure data collection is accurate across all digital platforms.
Data Analysis & Reporting :
- Analyze website data to identify user behavior trends, conversion rates, and areas for improvement.
- Create customized, insightful reports for stakeholders, utilizing Google Analytics and data visualization tools.
- Develop dashboards and visual reports using tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Power BI to communicate key metrics to non-technical audiences.
- Perform A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO) analysis, and other data-driven initiatives to optimize website performance.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication :
- Collaborate with marketing, development, and product teams to ensure data tracking aligns with business goals.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving the user experience, increasing engagement, and driving conversions.
- Train team members on best practices for data analysis and website tracking.
Continuous Improvement & Optimization :
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web analytics, digital marketing, and data visualization.
- Identify new opportunities for tracking and improving website performance.
- Regularly review and refine tracking setups to ensure optimal data collection and accuracy.
Qualifications :
Experience :
- Proven experience (3+ years) working with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of website analytics, tracking methodologies, and user behavior analysis.
- Hands-on experience with event tracking, e-commerce tracking, and custom reporting in Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with website optimization tools (e.g , A/B testing platforms) is a plus.
Skills :
- Proficient in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager setup and troubleshooting.
- Experience in creating dashboards and visual reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
- Understanding of SEO, SEM, and online marketing performance metrics.
- Knowledge of HTML, SQL, JavaScript, and CSS for advanced tracking setups (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Marketing (or equivalent experience).
Certifications (Preferred) :
- Google Analytics Certification.
- Google Tag Manager Certification.
- Other relevant certifications (e.g, Tableau, Power BI).
