Role Overview:

Job Title: Quantitative Analyst

Location: Gurgaon

Experience Level: 1-3 years

As a Quantitative Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and implementing quantitative models to create new portfolio strategies and enhance existing ones with an objective to improve portfolio performance while limiting risk and drawdowns. You will work closely with our core quant team to analyse market data, identify trends, and drive data-driven improvements to both new and existing portfolio strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, evaluate, and implement quantitative models to create new portfolio strategies and enhance existing ones.
  
• Optimize portfolio performance while managing risk and drawdowns.
  
• Analyse large datasets to identify market trends.
  
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights.
  
• Assess and refine risk models to enhance portfolio resilience.
  
• Develop techniques to minimize drawdowns and improve risk-adjusted returns.
  
• Conduct rigorous back testing of portfolio strategies to ensure robustness.
  
• Continuously refine models based on empirical results and market conditions.
  
• Stay updated on advancements in quantitative finance, statistical modelling, and machine learning.
  
• Explore new data sources and methodologies to enhance portfolio strategies.
  
  
  
  Requirements

  • Bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    
  • Proficiency in Python for software development and data analysis.
    
  • Experience in data analysis, market research, data modelling and exposure to factor models
    
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
