Main Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

• New Product Introduction end to end process till initial supply and management approval process.
• Maintain the optimum level of inventory as per market demand along with meeting the department target.
• Re-balance the inventory every quarter to avoid stagnation.
• Review and revise distribution key monthly and safety stock level monthly.
• Supplier management close co-ordination for supplies, review pending orders, lead time, service level and fill rate.
• Special focus on new launches.
• Monitor and control obsolescence and write off with actions in discussions with marketing.

2. Customer Service Level:

• Maintain the service level as per department target.
• Manage stock issues proactively to avoid loss of sale.
• Bi-weekly meeting with customer service to understand grass root level issue.
• Pro-active communication with customer service in terms of service issue or any product portfolio changes.

3. Marketing Co-ordination:

• Sales forecast discussion with marketing –monthly.
• Understanding the schemes to align planning accordingly.
• Sales forecast Vs actual to be discussed to improve sales forecast accuracy – monthly.
• Drive liquidation with marketing support to avoid obsolescence and write off’s – quarterly.

4. Analytics:

• Inventory analysis to understand fast/slow moving items to drive optimization.
• Anticipate Potential stock issues
• Analyze sales trends to improve decisions in planning process.
• Timely reporting(s) to management as defined or as needed.
• Weekly analysis of new launches.
• DRP KPI and project analytics.

5. Others:

• Presentations to be made as per the need of the department .
• Clarification of APAC HQ
• Support projects launched by India, APAC and global teams.

A. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

• Total 8 years of work experience and at least 5 years of experience in supply chain and inventory management.
• Must have worked on ERP – Oracle and DRP (Distribution Requirement Planning). Must be hands on stakeholder management.

B. NETWORK INTERACTION:

• INTERNAL: This role will be working closely with colleagues from across the operations teams, sales teams, marketing, operations, customer service, finance collections.
• EXTERNAL: This role will be managing multiple external stakeholders.

C. TECHNICAL SKILLS – PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE:

• Educational Background: Master’s Degree with a specialization in Supply Chain Management is preferred.

D. CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Educational Background: Master’s Degree with competency in Supply Chain Management and Inventory Management.

E. LANGUAGES :

• Proficient in English and multilingual is preferred.
