In 3 months:
Understanding of Nexus cross functioning teams, their roles and responsibilities
Involve in Deal Evaluation and Negotiation with the respective media / channels aligned business and clients day to day requirements.
Updates/ cprp track / reviews as per aligned frequency with your team before the delivery
Learn the Digital Reservation Buys planning execution process.
In 6 months:
Handle tactical and implementation buying independently with the team, ensure delivery of KPI as aligned.
Provide integrated media buying solution for new campaigns.
Ensure timely reporting of buying KPIs / deliverables and reports.
Responsible for Nexus compliance adherence on the aligned GroupM Nexus process
Deliver TV, Print, Radio Digital Reservation buys for aligned businesses briefs.
In 12 months:
Ensure Plan QC process optimization right through the year with a tracker.
Become a Multi-channel / integrated media buyer champion within your team.
Ensure 100% Reviews are done with Activation Specialist lead as per aligned SOP.
Achieve 100% GroupM Nexus process compliance adherence across aligned business.
Ensure your contribution to Nexus tool creation/ enhancement to achieve further efficiency compared to the previous annual efficiency benchmark.
Responsibilities of the role:
Following are the responsibilities of the Nexus Activation Specialists and the varying degree of complexity is subject to individual job level:
Nexus Activation Specialist team is accountable for tactical Buying and implementation for a set of clients.
Nexus Activation Specialist team to understands clients brand identity, GroupM Agency s deliverables and campaign KPI s.
Understand the campaign brief received from Agency Specialist lead, provide benchmarking / planning rates / final negotiation in line with SOP.
Coordination with other stake holders, mainly the Nexus Planning team for deal closures
Negotiate with Vendors for your activation plan including campaign value adds, FCT management, campaign execution etc
Optimize the activation plan to achieve the objectives/ KPI.
Close the optimized plan with Activation Specialist lead.
Track the live campaigns on daily/ week basis in terms of spot implementation, campaign performance, mid- eavls etc
Campaign management including performance and corrective measures, Campaign inflight optimization is compulsorily done for every single campaign.
Follow end to end Nexus process for Campaign execution and Campaign management.
in addition to create, implement and manage integrated campaigns :
Work collaboratively with Nexus Planning, Nexus mPlan, Nexus Digital AdOps and other Nexus Activation Specialist Teams (wherever required) to ensure a holistic approach in integrated campaign creation execution.
Ensure understanding and 100% compliance with both GroupM and finance processes, policies and procedures.
Excellent vendor relationship management
What you will need:
3-4 years of Media Buying experience; experience in Planning will be an added advantage.
Proven and extensive experience in Media Buying/ Negotiation, Excellent spots placement and tracking with meticulous process.
Able to effectively defined goals through your team
Excellent knowledge of negotiations and inflation management
Industry Software Knowledge usage - Yumi, IRS, TGI, MAP. Understanding of digital tools
Demonstrate capabilities to demonstrated by self-confidence, good judgement, sound decision-making, empathic listening, flexibility, self-motivation and ability to challenge the status quo.
Good in communication stakeholder relationship management skills
Proactiveness in address and escalate when needed, on any issue that compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverable.
