Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Writer to join our team.
As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for managing and updating technical documentation, ensuring it aligns with current IT infrastructure standards and practices. This role entails crafting detailed technical guides, overseeing documentation transitions, and contributing to user experience enhancements through precise content creation. Your work will support the implementation and utilization of various IT platforms and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage technical documentation on Confluence for both our team and other IT teams
- Ensure documentation aligns with IT infrastructure standards and practices
- Oversee the transition of platform release documentation from Confluence to Novartis templates
- Maintain and update the Architecture Handbook, Functional Specifications, and Design Specifications
- Develop comprehensive technical how-to guides for end-users focusing on AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake
- Create user-friendly documentation and posts detailing end-to-end scenarios
- Enhance user experience by producing content similar to AWS Blog posts
- Update and maintain architectural and functional documentation
- Contribute to emerging GenAI tools integration guides and practical scenarios
- Ensure clear, accurate, and up-to-date user guidance documentation through hands-on testing of sample code
- 6 - 10 years of experience in technical writing relevant to IT infrastructure and enterprise platforms
- Expertise in AWS and proficiency in WAS, Databricks, and Snowflake
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage system documentation, including user guides
- Capability to follow and document each step, test sample code for accuracy
- Understanding of IT platform tools and services for effective documentation
- Background in documenting GenAI technologies and explaining their integration within platforms
- Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and standards
- Experience in creating video content to enhance user understanding
- Skills in coding to help enhance and maintain alignment in sample repository updates
