SAP BTP Developer - Web Applications (3-5 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are seeking an SAP BTP Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team.

As a key member of our team, you will be involved in developing and implementing solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), utilizing modern web technologies and development frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop applications using Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) with a strong focus on Node.js.

- This will include designing, developing, and deploying high-performance, scalable applications.

- Leverage microservice architecture principles to create modular and maintainable code, ensuring that solutions are scalable and performant in cloud environments.

- Utilize modern web technologies such as SAP UI5, Fiori, and Node.js to design and implement user-friendly interfaces and front-end solutions for SAP BTP applications.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Work closely with other developers, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of solutions and deliver high-quality outcomes.

- Participate actively in SAP BTP project execution, contributing to the successful delivery of solutions on time and within budget.

- Continuously improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of applications through optimization and refactoring techniques.

- Utilize GIT for version control and implement CI/CD practices to ensure code quality, automated testing, and smooth deployments.

- Leverage DevOps tools and best practices to automate and streamline development, deployment, and monitoring processes, contributing to a more agile and efficient development lifecycle.

- Address and resolve technical issues in a timely manner by identifying, debugging, and fixing bugs and performance bottlenecks.

- Continuously monitor the system for potential issues and ensure that applications are running smoothly in the SAP BTP environment.

- Proven experience in developing applications using Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), with expertise in Node.js.

- Familiarity with modern web technologies such as SAP UI5, Fiori, and Node.js for front-end and full-stack development.

- While experience with these technologies is preferred, candidates with a strong Node.js background will also be considered.

- Hands-on experience with developing solutions using microservices architecture to ensure flexibility and scalability of applications.

- Prior experience with at least one SAP BTP project execution is highly beneficial.

- Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform services, such as SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, or SAP Business Application Studio, is a plus.

- Proficiency with GIT for version control, and experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience : 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-based technologies, SAP development, and web application development
