Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Strategy:
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery of materials.
• Optimize inventory management and procurement processes to align with project requirements.
2. Procurement Management:
• Source and negotiate with vendors/suppliers for components related to transmission lines, substations, and renewable energy projects.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, budget constraints, and quality standards.
3. Project Coordination:
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to align supply chain activities with project timelines.
• Manage logistics for on-time delivery of critical components.
4. Vendor Management:
• Evaluate vendor performance, establish long-term partnerships, and maintain a database of preferred suppliers.
• Monitor adherence to contractual terms, including warranties and after-sales support.
5. Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations, environmental standards, and company policies in all supply chain activities.
• Prepare and manage documentation required for audits and compliance checks.
6. Risk Management:
• Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage contingencies for disruptions in the supply chain or material shortages.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in ERP and supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other relevant tools).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding of electrical engineering components used in transmission and renewable energy sectors.
