Idexcel Technologies - Engineering Manager - Ruby on Rails (10-15 yrs)

Required Qualifications : Engineering Manager-ROR.

Experience : 10 to 15 years.

- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years managing engineering teams.

- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR), Angular, and/or Node.js.

- Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in backend technologies (RoR, Node.js), and frontend frameworks like Angular.

- Strong understanding of web technologies including RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Microservices, and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Experience with cloud computing platforms, primarily AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.

Leadership & Management :

- Proven experience leading high-performing engineering teams.

- Excellent project management and organizational skills with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Ability to mentor and grow talent, with strong people management skills.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.

- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.

- Previous experience in a start-up environment or rapidly scaling companies.
