Lead Embedded Test Engineer (Automation Test)

Job Summary -

Responsible for Automated & Manual Testing of Embedded Software of the product as well as the UI interfaces associated with the device

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Study and analyze requirements, technical design documents and develop test cases.
• Functional testing of embedded software.
• Identify and develop detailed and comprehensive test scenarios, test cases and test data.
• Develop automation scripts using in-house or commercially available automation tools.
• Create and maintain hardware test setups and ability to solve issues.
• Collaborate and coordinate with developers, other testers, and product owners.
• Participate in project scrum meetings for status update

Who You Are:

The candidate will be involved in Automation and manual testing of the embedded products & desktop application software with good communication skills in both oral and written, and with a strong desire to work in a cross-cultural team.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Experience (8-12Yrs) of testing embedded software products.
• Hands on experience in testing the Web or Windows application as well as the ability to develop test automation.
• Experience in testing of communication protocols such as RS-232, RS-485 and Modbus.
• Programming experience in python or any other scripting languages.
• Awareness of basic Linux commands.
• Experience working in scrum teams and good awareness on Agile principles.
• Experience in LabView programming for building test automation will be an added advantage.
• Working Knowledge of tools such as SVN, Git, Azure DevOps and Jira would be preferred.
• ISTQB Foundation level certification would be preferred.
