Product Development & Innovation:
- New Product Development: Lead the end-to-end process for new product development, from concept to launch. Collaborate with the R&D teams to innovate and create products that meet consumer needs and align with brand values.
- Product Enhancements: Continuously assess the performance of existing products. Identify opportunities for improvement in product formulation, ingredients, or production processes, and work with relevant teams to implement changes.
- Consumer-Driven Innovation: Stay abreast of consumer trends and preferences within the frozen food category. Use insights to inform product innovation and ensure our products cater to current market demands and emerging trends.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Quality Assurance Collaboration: Partner with the Quality Assurance team to maintain strict quality standards for all products. Lead efforts to address any quality issues and drive product improvements to enhance consumer satisfaction.
- Packaging & Labelling: Oversee packaging design and labelling to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and effective communication of key product attributes. Collaborate with design teams to create packaging that reflects brand identity and appeals to target consumers.
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Product Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage the performance of products across their lifecycle. Recommend adjustments to the product line, including discontinuations, SKU rationalizations, and strategic portfolio expansions based on data-driven insights.
Market & Consumer Insights:
- Customer Feedback Analysis: Collect and analyse customer feedback through multiple channels (such as sampling, customer service, social media, and surveys) to identify potential improvements or changes to existing products.
- Competitive Analysis: Regularly review competitor offerings, including product specifications, pricing, and consumer feedback. Use these insights to guide product decisions and ensure products remain competitive.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate regular reports on product performance, including key metrics such as sales volume, customer satisfaction, and production efficiency. Present findings to leadership and make recommendations for action based on data insights.
