Role Overview :
As a Magento Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining Magento 2 e-commerce websites and applications. Your responsibilities will include customizing and extending existing Magento extensions, optimizing website performance and security, and ensuring scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Magento 2 e-commerce websites and applications within specified timelines.
- Customize and extend existing Magento extensions and modules.
- Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
- Implement checkout page customizations to enhance user experience.
- Utilize third-party APIs (e.g., NetSuite, MuleSoft) effectively for integration purposes.
- Develop Magento modules following best practices.
- Ensure complete delivery of projects and communicate effectively with clients when required.
Requirements
- 2 years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 development.
- Proficiency in PHP and CMS platforms.
- Strong understanding of KnockoutJS for front-end development.
- Experience in integrating third-party APIs into Magento applications.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Bitbucket or Git.
- Excellent coding and analytical skills to tackle complex issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
Preferred Skills :
- Prior experience with eCommerce lifecycle development.
- Knowledge of Magento 2 plugins/extensions and their customization.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
