Payroll Officer & Credit Controller

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Weekly Payroll Processing

Accurately process timesheets and execute weekly and monthly payroll for Locum and PAYE staff.

Conduct regular and ad-hoc audits to ensure payroll accuracy and minimize fraud risks.

Address payroll-related queries promptly and efficiently.

Perform periodic audits and due diligence on umbrella companies to ensure compliance.

Handle pay-related and umbrella company inquiries effectively.

Supplier Payments

Review and authorize supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment processing.

Track and manage administrative costs for Indian branch operations, implementing cost-saving measures.

Analyse operational expenses and provide actionable cost-control recommendations to management.

Negotiate contracts, agreements, and payment terms with suppliers and stakeholders.

Liaise with suppliers, government entities, and private institutions to address payments and related queries.

Credit Control

Monitor and manage outstanding receivables to ensure timely collections.

Communicate professionally with clients to resolve payment issues and disputes.

Prepare and analyse aging reports to track receivables and escalate overdue accounts when necessary.

Business Data Analysis

Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) with a focus on financial metrics such as sales, expenses, and profit margins.

Monitor and address unexpected variances in KPIs.

Prepare ad-hoc business performance reports as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Part-qualification in CIMA or ACCA is highly desirable.

Proven experience in credit control and payroll processing, particularly for US/UK clients.

Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with payroll systems and financial reporting tools.

Monthly Gross Salary: INR 35,000 - INR 45,000
