Rust Backend Engineer - Kubernetes & WebAssembly (5-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain high-performance backend applications using Rust.

- Cross-compile Rust programs for various architectures, including WebAssembly (wasm) and musl.

- Integrate backend services with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.

- Automate tasks and workflows using shell scripting.

- Utilize command-line tools and utilities effectively to manage and troubleshoot systems.

- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to ensure smooth deployment and operation of backend services.

- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.

- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Rust, Kubernetes, and web development technologies.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Rust programming.

- Proficiency in cross-compiling Rust programs for different architectures (wasm, musl).

- Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker using command-line tools.

- Ability to write and automate tasks using shell scripting.

- Strong understanding of Unix command-line tools, utilities, and fundamentals.

- Experience with SSH, port forwarding, and connecting to applications within clusters or behind firewalls.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Proficiency in Git version control with command-line experience
