Liquibase Database Developer (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain database schemas using Liquibase.

- Implement database changes using Liquibase to ensure smooth version control and migration.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Liquibase code.

- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand database requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex database issues.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Liquibase and database management technologies.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on back-end development.

- Proven experience with Liquibase or similar database migration tools (Flyway, SchemaFly).

- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.

- Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and principles.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve database issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- A meticulous and detail-oriented approach to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with cloud-based databases (e., Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database).

- Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
