As designer, you will shape existing features, economy, content and new features for PvZ2. You will back up your plans using data & customer insights with the goal of growing engagement with core players through high-value features and meta-adjustment.
Responsibilities:
Create engaging game features with strong economies for a mobile market to align and further product goals
Build concise game design documentation for game content and features
Assess and apply qualitative and quantitative feedback to improve game design and balance
Design and lead the implementation of game features and systems with an eye for engagement, retention, monetization, and most importantly, what players want
Work with a content designer to ensure that existing content pipelines are flowing smoothly and optimized for continued support
Coordinate with artists, engineers, and other team members to ensure the smooth integration of design elements into the existing game
Attend regular team meetings and contribute to the creative direction of the game
You will work in a Co-Dev environment, reporting to the project stakeholders and the design lead
What were looking for:
At least 2+ years of game design experience in a Casual mobile gaming company
Deep understanding of economy balance and tuning
A strength in the following areas: level design, feature design, economy design
Experience and knowledge with data and using data to make changes to live designs/features
Strong knowledge of game design principles, including mechanics, and level design
Accomplished with writing clear and concise specs, user flows, and feature documentation
Experience with mobile gaming and deep understanding of habit-creating core loops
