Job Description
We are seeking a highlyexperienced and motivated Senior DesignEngineer - Electrical Substation with 5-10years specialized in design, development, and implementation for Substationdesign. The ideal candidate involvesthemselves in creating detailed design plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
You are expected to do:
Manage the complete lifecycle of Substation Design w ith minimal supervision . This includes project planning, execution,monitoring, and closing.
De velop detailed Electrical Designs for Substation , including Sizing Calculation, control & protection schemes, Component/Equipment selection, substation layoutdrawings etc . Conduct system modelling and simulations to validate designchoices.
Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex electrical issues during design, installation, and operational phases.
Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industrystandards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ANSI/IEEE, NEC, UL,IEC) .Implement safety measures and conduct risk assessments.
Power System Studies like load flow/short circuit/ arc flash analysis using SKM /ETAP .
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including specifications,reports and user manuals. Communicate effectively with stakeholdersand clients.
