We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Quality Control to oversee all aspects of quality control activities within our organization
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements by developing and implementing robust quality control processes and procedures
The Manager of QC will lead a team of quality control technicians and analysts, manage day-to-day QC operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proven track record of implementing quality control best practices in a manufacturing or production environment
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Lead and manage a team of quality control technicians and analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality work and adherence to established procedures
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve quality control metrics such as product defects, rework rates, and customer complaints
Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards
Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints in a timely and effective manner, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and regulatory affairs, to address quality issues, implement process improvements, and support new product introductions
Manage the documentation and record-keeping process for quality control activities, including maintaining accurate records of test results, inspections, and corrective actions
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in quality control and implement changes as necessary to ensure continuous improvement
Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of quality control
