As a Quantity Surveyor, you will manage cost estimation, budget control, and financial assessment for one of the three projects: two in building construction and one in bridge construction. Responsibilities include cost planning, tender preparation, variation management, and ensuring cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Develop and evaluate tender documents and contracts, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitor project expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets and report deviations.
Manage variations and claims, ensuring timely processing.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams for effective financial management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech) preferred; diploma holders considered with additional experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience for B.Tech holders.
Minimum of 5 years of experience for diploma holders.
Proficiency in cost control, budgeting, and estimation for construction projects.
Strong analytical skills and experience in project cost management.
