Job Summary: EMO Energy, a pioneering EV battery technology company, is seeking an experienced BMS Supply Chain Lead to play a pivotal role in driving the supply chain strategy for our Battery Management Systems (BMS) and EV components. This role Will lead the procurement, sourcing, and vendor management efforts to ensure the seamless integration of advanced technology into our electric vehicle solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, optimize processes, negotiate supplier contracts, and align supply chain operations with the companys mission to create a sustainable and efficient future of mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely deliveries.
Global Sourcing: Source critical electronic and mechanical components globally, ensuring compliance with industry standards and sustainability goals.
Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to ensure timely availability of components while minimizing holding costs.
Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement robust procurement strategies for BMS components and EV-related products.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with RD and production teams to meet supply chain requirements for new and existing EV projects.
Cost Optimization: Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and value engineering.
Supplier Development: Conduct vendor audits, establish vendor rating systems, and spearhead localization initiatives for reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Supply Chain Resilience: Address supply chain challenges, including quality issues, demand fluctuations, and production timelines.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to EV-specific regulations, such as ISO 26262 and environmental standards for battery components.
Process Improvement: Create and maintain SOPs for procurement and supply chain operations to drive efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications Skills Required:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of BMS components, Li-ion cells, DC contactors, and advanced electronic systems used in EVs.
Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management tools.
Proven experience in supplier negotiation and managing procurement teams.
Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration for large-scale projects.
Deep understanding of EV technology, trends, and supply chain dynamics.
Knowledge of compliance requirements for EV and battery systems, including safety and environmental standards.
Expertise in cost analysis, supply chain optimization, and demand forecasting.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Green Belt certification or equivalent in supply chain management is a plus.
