Job Description
Easebuzz is a fast-growing, RBI-regulated payment aggregator delivering profitability through a unique, verticalized payment solutions platform. With API-driven products, Easebuzz empowers a wide range of merchants to manage, accept, process, and disburse payments seamlessly. Our offerings include solutions for payments, embedded finance, lending, subscriptions, B2B, onboarding, and more. After achieving growth in multiples for past many years, Easebuzz is primed for its next expansion phase with ambitious IPO goals. We re looking for a strategic and dynamic Head of Product to lead us in achieving these milestones.
Position Overview
The Vice President of Product will drive Easebuzzs product strategy and execution to take the company to the next stage. This role demands a visionary with expertise in payment gateway systems, including card processing, UPI stack, and the compliance landscape. This role requires an experienced hustler who is passionate about scaling innovative payment solutions, and who believes deeply in our vision of verticalized payment solutions tailored to the specific needs of diverse sectors. You ll lead product innovation, ensuring readiness for rapid scaling and business alignment, essential for Easebuzz s IPO ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision Strategy: Define and implement a compelling product strategy that aligns with Easebuzz s growth targets and IPO roadmap.
Customer and Market Insight: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to ensure product relevance, optimize market fit, and anticipate industry trends.
Product Development Execution: Own the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and cross-functional alignment.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering, sales, marketing, customer support, and regulatory teams to drive successful product launches and updates.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with RBI and other regulatory standards, particularly regarding PCI DSS, data security, and financial protocols.
Performance Analytics: Establish and track key product metrics to measure success, optimize product performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
Customer-Centric Design: Champion customer needs in all decisions, working closely with UX and design teams to develop intuitive, impactful products.
Requirements
Experience: 8+ years in product management within payments or fintech, with a strong focus on building and scaling payment platforms and complex workflows.
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of payment gateways, card processing, and UPI stack, including compliance requirements and secure integrations.
Leadership: Proven experience in managing and developing cross-functional product teams with the ability to inspire, mentor, and drive results.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with RBI regulations and compliance standards (PCI DSS), along with strong knowledge of security protocols.
Strategic and Analytical Abilities: Skilled in leveraging market insights and data to inform decisions, drive growth, and improve operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Management: Strong track record in leading cross-functional initiatives in a highgrowth, dynamic environment.
Educational Background: Bachelors degree in a relevant field (B.Tech preferred); an MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
