Job Description

Job Title: Product Manager - Duroflex (D2C Tech Stack & Mattress Portfolio)


- As a Product Manager at Duroflex, you will define, plan, and execute the roadmap for our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) tech stack while driving growth in the mattress category.


- This role focuses on optimizing user experiences, ensuring a commercially viable product portfolio, and driving business expansion through a combination of e-commerce and offline channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, marketers, and external partners to turn business requirements into actionable strategies that meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, product development, and market intelligence.


Key Responsibilities:


Product Roadmap Development:


- Develop and maintain a product roadmap for both the D2C tech stack and mattress portfolio, balancing short-term and long-term goals.


- Prioritize features, enhancements, and new products based on business needs, market trends, and stakeholder feedback.


Sales Focus:


- Drive sales for B2C mattresses across offline and e-commerce channels, ensuring alignment between product offerings and market demand.


Requirement Gathering:


- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and document technical, functional, and design requirements for both the D2C platform and mattress product line, ensuring that all specifications are aligned with business objectives.


Commercial Viability:


- Ensure that the mattress portfolio is commercially viable by identifying gaps in the current product offering and developing strategies to address these gaps. Drive portfolio development for future commercialization, including product launches planned for FY26.


Cross-functional Collaboration:


- Work closely with design, development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure product alignment and smooth project execution.


- Ensure seamless collaboration between e-commerce and offline sales channels.


Vendor and Partner Coordination:


- Manage relationships with external agencies and development teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and the highest quality solutions.


User Experience & Visual Merchandising:


- Champion user-centered design principles to improve website usability and customer experience.


- Ensure visual merchandising (VM) for mattresses is consistently executed both online and offline, optimizing product presentation.


Project Monitoring:


- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.


- Address obstacles and manage risks effectively to maintain progress.


Quality Assurance & Training:


- Lead testing efforts to identify and resolve bugs and usability issues on the website. Additionally, drive a monthly training schedule for mattress-related products, ensuring that sales teams are equipped with product knowledge.


Performance Analysis:


- Analyze key performance metrics, such as sales data and website analytics, to identify opportunities for improvement in the mattress portfolio and D2C platform.


Competitive Benchmarking & Market Intelligence:


- Conduct annual competitive benchmarking and gather market intelligence to inform product strategy and pricing.


- Utilize MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) data to ensure competitive positioning of mattresses.


Future Portfolio Development:


- Drive the development of future mattress portfolios, preparing for the commercialization of new products targeted for FY26, and ensuring alignment with market trends and business goals.


Strategic Vision:


- Collaborate with senior leadership to build a comprehensive digital and product strategy, ensuring alignment with Duroflex's business goals and customer needs.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):


- Sales B2C (Offline + E-commerce) Mattress category


- Visual Merchandising (VM) Execution B2C mattress presentation (Offline + E-commerce)


- Commercially Viable Product Portfolio Including identifying and addressing gaps in the mattress line


- Future Portfolio Development Product pipeline for FY26


- Competitive Benchmarking & Market Intelligence (MAP) Annual mattress benchmarking


- Training Sessions Conduct mattress-related training sessions (Target: X sessions per month)


Qualifications:


- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (Masters/MBA preferred).


- 6+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager in e-commerce, technology-driven, or product portfolio environments.


- Solid technical understanding of Shopify, PHP, and web development processes.


- Strong project management skills with experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects.


- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.


- Deep knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices and visual merchandising principles.


- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative work environment.


- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
