Durapid Technology - Software Development Engineer - Test II - Python (4-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Python with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented unit test cases using Python frameworks

- Leverage CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI to automate test execution

- Employ mocking and stubbing techniques for effective unit testing

- Verify data integrity and consistency in database operations

- Generate comprehensive test reports and analyze metrics to identify areas for improvement in code coverage, test effectiveness, and defect prevention

- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve software defects

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

- Work effectively with legacy codebases and contribute to migration efforts (optional)

Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience in software development testing

- Strong proficiency in Python programming language and testing frameworks (e.g, unittest, pytest)

- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI

- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
