DSRC - Senior PHP Developer - CodeIgniter/Javascript (5-7 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CodeIgniter PHP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in PHP, CodeIgniter, and web development best practices. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining web-based applications for the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain web applications using CodeIgniter framework.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement business requirements.

- Design and optimize relational databases using MySQL.

- Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures.

- Ensure data integrity and security.

- Develop RESTful APIs to integrate with other systems and services.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.

- Optimize API performance and security.

- Deploy applications to AWS using tools like Elastic Beanstalk and Lambda.

- Configure and maintain server environments.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to team members.

- Adhere to coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in PHP development.

- 5+ years of experience with CodeIgniter framework (version 3 or 4).

- Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Proficiency in MySQL and SQL query optimization.

- Experience with REST API development and microservices architecture.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Git, Docker, CI/CD).

- Familiarity with AWS services (Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda) is a plus.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
