Job Description
- Approach every problem by breaking it down to the core and devising solutions from first principles.
- Use data to drive day-to-day development, debugging, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Take full ownership of the projects and systems you or your team lead, ensuring accountability for both the short-term and long-term goals.
- Lead meetings with clear agendas, ensuring they drive outcomes, foster collaboration, and resolve roadblocks.
- Maintain hands-on expertise with key technology stacks (e.g., JS, TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift), ensuring you stay grounded in the technical challenges.
- In-depth understanding, preferably react or react-native or Android or iOS
- Regularly review architecture and code, providing constructive feedback that enhances technical quality and efficiency.
- Demonstrate a strong command of both low-level and high-level system design principles.
- Anticipate and resolve performance bottlenecks by identifying root causes and implementing scalable solutions.
- Instrument production systems for monitoring and creating efficient troubleshooting processes to handle outages or incidents.
Qualifiers:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on frontend technologies (TypeScript, React, React-Native, Android or iOS etc.).
- Proven experience with system design and architecture.
