- Teaching and Supervision: Supervise junior residents, medical students, and interns, providing guidance in patient care, procedures, and clinical reasoning.
- Research: Engage in research projects, case studies, and academic pursuits related to General Surgery, contributing to medical knowledge and publications.
- Emergency Coverage: Be available for on-call duties and respond to emergency surgical cases, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
- Continuing Education: Attend conferences, workshops, and educational sessions to stay updated with advancements in surgical techniques and medical knowledge.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety measures, and adherence to evidence-based practices.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues, explaining treatment options, surgical procedures, and recovery expectations.
