Role & responsibilities

A. PRIMARY:

Tax Litigation and Representation:

• Attending to the assessment and appellate proceedings of various clients
• Visiting and liaising with the tax department authorities for tax related matters of the clients
• Drafting and preparing submissions and paper books for matters before various appellate authorities

Tax Advisory:

• Advisory assignments for domestic / International Taxation matters
• Assisting Seniors for detailed research on technical and legal issues
• Preparing tax status report

Tax Compliance:

• Preparing and reviewing return of income for corporates and non-corporates
• Preparing and reviewing TDS and advance tax related compliances
• Preparing and reviewing Tax audit report for corporates and non-corporates
• Repatriation/Remittances (Form 15CA/15CB) in case of non-residents

Statutory Audit:

• Conducting Statutory audits of Company, LLP
• Responsible for planning and executing the above audits
• Handling the audit team
• Interaction with the clients on regular basis for undertaking audits, review, discussion on best industry practices, resolution of queries and changes in processes and practices that need to be carried out by the client

B. SECONDARY:

• Supervising and guiding article assistants
• Supporting the tax team in day-to-day assignments
• Solving day to day queries of client
• Preparing and sharing tax and legal updates and conducting training sessions for team

Preferred candidate profile

• Technically sound and well versed with provisions of Income-tax Act & other relevant Acts.
• Excellent communication, presentation and drafting skill
• Should be a team player with a proactive and result oriented approach
• Should be self-driven and highly motivated
