Position : IRAC Application Manager

Overview :

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Income Recognition and Asset Classification (IRAC) system, implementing RBI circulars, ensuring compliance, maintaining audit trails, and managing change.

Responsibilities :

IRAC System Management :

- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the IRAC system to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.

- This includes troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with IT for technical support, and implementing system upgrades as necessary.

Implementation of RBI Circulars :

- Stay updated with the latest RBI circulars and guidelines related to income recognition and asset classification.

- Implement these circulars in the IRAC system in a timely and accurate manner.

Compliance :

- Ensure that all activities related to the IRAC system are compliant with the relevant RBI guidelines and internal policies. This includes conducting regular compliance checks and audits.

Audit Trail :

- Maintain a comprehensive audit trail for all activities related to the IRAC system.

- This includes documenting system changes, user activities, and compliance checks.

Change Management :

- Manage changes to the IRAC system in a controlled manner.

- This includes assessing the impact of proposed changes, obtaining necessary approvals, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to implement the changes.

Financial Accuracy :

- Ensure financial accuracy of the IRAC system by implementing pro-active checks and balances.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing IRAC system in a scheduled commercial bank.

- Strong understanding of income recognition and asset classification principles.

- Familiarity with RBI guidelines and circulars.

- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
