Job description:

- We are seeking a skilled Python, SQL Developer to Join our operation team as developer responsible for building Data As A Service for New and Existing client.

- Riskspan is an award-winning SaaS for B2B Fintech, headquartered in USA with an office in Chennai, India.

Responsibilities:

File Mapping and Integration:

- Develop and implement file mapping strategies to ensure seamless integration and data compatibility between systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and software developers, to define data mapping requirements and specifications.

- Conduct thorough testing and validation of data mappings to ensure accuracy and data integrity.

Report data errors and anomalies:

- Create comprehensive reports and visualizations to present findings and key performance indicators related to residential mortgage loan data.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data reporting efficiency.

Data Quality Assurance:

- Establish data quality standards and protocols to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of mortgage loan data.

- Conduct data validation and quality checks to identify and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data governance policies and procedures.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, lenders, and underwriters, to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.

- Communicate complex data analysis findings and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and through reports and presentations.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, sharing best practices and promoting a data-driven culture.

- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for the operation

- Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement

- Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible

- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management

- Incidence management and root cause analysis

- Coordination and communication within the team and with customers

Required Skill, Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor of Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering degree ( or equivalent)from reputed College/University

- 3-5 Years of relevant experience with 5-7 Total experience

- Programing experience with Python, SQL and Shell Scripting

- Hands on Development experience w/ Docker/container environment / AWS CDK

- Experience with GIT, Jenkins, Jira

- Good analytical and debugging skills.

- Three (3) days a week in the office.
