Job description:

We would look into the following details while hiring Business Intelligence Developer (Power BI).

Essential Qualification:

- Strong background of working with database systems along with a strong knowledge of SQL

- Proficient with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having Power BI, SSIS, SSRS

- High level of expertise in MS Excel; knowledge of MS Access is preferred

- Experience in developing applications in Power BI.; exposure to any other BI tools is a plus

- Hands-on in Python or PHP as well as competent in DAX queries

- Knowledge of tools such as AWS and SQL server is required

- Hands-on in Power BI Power Tools

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Tech Lead to translate the business needs to technical specifications, with a focus on identifying business reporting and analyzing needs

- Architect, design, and develop overall solutions, business intelligence reports, visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.

- Work with the leadership team to identify, design, and implement the appropriate reporting user experience or the clients, ensuring, adherence to security standards as well as usability and scalability best practices

- Formulate framework and mechanisms to ensure smooth data integration and data pull automation with client environment (data lakes, data marts, etc.) through APIs or other mechanisms

- Ensure smooth onboarding for new clients, working on APIs, database development reports creation among other activities based on the project scope and objectives

- Own daily/weekly refreshes for existing engagements, delivering error-free final deliverables to clients

- Work closely with the Quality team to provide support for testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
