Ticketing Executive

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Ticketing Executive to manage ticketing processes efficiently and ensure seamless travel arrangements for clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in booking, amending, and issuing tickets using relevant ticketing portals and should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ticketing Operations:
Book, issue, and reissue tickets for domestic and international travel.
Process cancellations, refunds, and amendments as per client requests.
Handle group ticketing requirements and itinerary management.

2. Customer Support:
Provide accurate and timely support to clients regarding ticketing queries.
Ensure excellent customer service during the pre-travel and post-travel phases.

3. Coordination and Reporting:
Work closely with travel agents, airlines, and internal teams to resolve issues.
Maintain records and prepare periodic reports on ticketing activities.

4. System Knowledge:
Operate ticketing platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or equivalent).
Ensure compliance with airline and travel regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Educational Requirements:
Minimum qualification: Bachelor s degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.

2. Experience:
5-10 years of experience in ticketing for domestic and international sectors.
Prior exposure to group ticketing and complex itineraries is a plus.

3. Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in ticketing portals (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and high accuracy in processing.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.

4. Technical Knowledge:
Knowledge of airline fare rules, taxes, and ticketing processes.
Familiarity with GDS (Global Distribution System) tools.
