About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager/Senior Manager, Data Science to lead and mentor a team of talented data scientists. The ideal candidate possesses a strong academic background in data science, machine learning, or a related field, with a proven track record of leveraging advanced analytics to drive actionable insights and strategic decision-making within the healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing domain. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Mentorship:

- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.

- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and support to team members on data science projects.

- Oversee the development, validation, and implementation of advanced analytics models and solutions.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Data Science and Analytics:

- Develop and apply advanced statistical and machine learning models to address critical business challenges in healthcare marketing, such as:

- Targeting and Segmentation: Develop sophisticated algorithms to identify and segment HCP audiences based on their demographics, prescribing behavior, interests, and online activity.

- Campaign Optimization: Build predictive models to optimize campaign performance, including click-through rates, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI).

- Content Recommendation: Design and implement recommendation systems to deliver personalized content and messaging to HCPs.

- Measurement and Attribution: Develop robust measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and attribute conversions to specific channels and touchpoints.

- Analyze large and complex datasets from various sources, including programmatic advertising platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and medical claims data, to extract meaningful insights and drive data-driven decision-making.

- Identify opportunities to leverage data science, machine learning, and AI to improve Doceree's platform, products, and services.

Communication and Collaboration:

- Effectively communicate technical findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including product managers, marketing teams, and clients.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and sales, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and translate them into data science solutions.

Project Management:

- Manage data science projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

- Oversee data acquisition, data cleaning, feature engineering, model development, model deployment, and model monitoring.

- Monitor project performance, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

- Education:

- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field.

- Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and AI, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering data science projects with demonstrable business impact, ideally in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

- Experience working with large datasets and applying advanced analytics techniques to solve real-world business problems.

- Technical Skills:

- Strong programming skills in Python or R.

- Proficiency in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning), and data mining techniques.

- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (Pref AWS).

- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
