Job Overview:
Divergent Software Labs is looking for a Team Lead Java Developer with 5+ years of Java development experience and 2+ years of experience managing teams and clients. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a talented development team, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and effectively managing client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced developer to take on leadership responsibilities while continuing to develop their technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, providing technical guidance and career development.
• Java Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications, ensuring that the best coding practices and design patterns are followed.
• Client Interaction: Manage client communication, gather requirements, provide progress updates, and ensure overall satisfaction with the project.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project management, QA, and design, to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of software solutions.
• Code Reviews & Quality Assurance: Conduct regular code reviews, ensuring that coding standards, performance, and security requirements are met.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Address and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring that applications are delivered without critical bugs or performance issues.
• Agile Methodologies: Lead the development process within an Agile framework, managing sprints, timelines, and resource allocation.

Eligibility Criteria:

Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development with a solid understanding of Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
• 2+ years of experience managing a development team, overseeing project progress, and leading client-facing interactions.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Java Development: Advanced knowledge of Java programming, Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate), and web technologies.
• Team Management: Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring teams, with a focus on collaboration and delivering results.
• Client Management: Ability to manage client relationships, understand project requirements, and ensure client satisfaction.
• OOPS & Design Patterns: Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban).
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, Angular, or React is a bonus.
