Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic AGM/DGM - Employee Relations (ER) to join team at a renowned manufacturing group in Noida. The role will oversee industrial relations, compliance, contractual manpower management, and handle all HR legal cases. This is a critical leadership role requiring strong expertise in labor laws, employee engagement, and conflict resolution to ensure a harmonious work environment and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Industrial Relations (IR):
- Foster a harmonious industrial relations environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Engage with unions and employee representatives to negotiate agreements and address grievances.
- Manage disciplinary actions and ensure adherence to organizational policies.
Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to labour laws, statutory compliance, and legal frameworks applicable to the manufacturing sector.
- Liaise with government and statutory bodies for inspections, audits, and certifications.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and implement necessary amendments in policies.
Contractual Manpower Management:
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and management of contractual workforce.
- Ensure compliance with contractual labor laws and vendor agreements.
- Implement effective monitoring and reporting systems for contractual manpower.
HR Legal Cases:
- Handle labor disputes, arbitration, and litigation concerning HR matters.
- Prepare documentation, coordinate with legal counsel, and represent the company in labor courts and tribunals.
- Develop strategies to mitigate legal risks and ensure swift resolution of cases.
Employee Engagement and Welfare:
- Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Promote workplace safety, employee welfare, and a positive work culture.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent; a degree in Law (LLB) is preferred.
- Experience: 12-18 years of experience in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, and HR legal roles, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance in India.
- Strong expertise in handling IR issues, grievances, and legal matters.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage conflicts effectively.
- Leadership skills to mentor and guide the HR and ER team.
