DigiLantern - Backend Developer - PHP/Node.js (3-5 yrs)

Job Description :

- We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic development team.

- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing robust server-side applications and a strong understanding of API design, database management, and software development best practices.

- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using programming languages such as PHP, Node. js, or Python.

- Build and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications.

- Collaborate with front-end developers and UX/UI designers to create efficient and user-friendly applications.

- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through code optimization and best practices.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal functionality.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to implement best practices.

Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in server-side programming languages (e., PHP, Node.js, Python).

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.

- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (e., MongoDB) is a plus.

- Knowledge of version control systems (e., Git) and agile methodologies.

- Familiarity with containerization tools (e., Docker) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Express. js, or Django.

- Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud technologies (e., AWS, Azure)
