Job Description
Skills: Backup Admin
Design, implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies for servers, databases, and other systems.
Ensure backups are completed on schedule and in compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
Monitor backup logs to ensure successful completion of backups and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Perform regular data restores to ensure data is recoverable in the event of a disaster.
Work with IT team to ensure backup systems are integrated with disaster recovery plans.
Develop and maintain documentation on backup and recovery procedures.
Perform periodic testing of backup systems to ensure they are effective.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
