About the Role :
We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of training and validation scenarios for our human imitation metrics-based auto-tuning system.
This position requires a strong foundation in data science, data engineering, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement innovative data mining, sampling, and filtering techniques to improve the quality and relevance of data used for training and validation.
- Conduct thorough data quality assessments, identify and address data inconsistencies, anomalies, and missing values.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data quality standards and best practices.
- Leverage our existing platform, OptiView, to create insightful visualizations and dashboards that effectively communicate data-driven insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop advanced data aggregation and reporting capabilities to monitor key performance indicators and identify trends.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of auto-tuning models by providing high-quality data and insights.
- Analyze model performance metrics and identify areas for improvement through data-driven approaches.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and data engineering.
- Conduct research and experiments to explore new techniques and methodologies that can enhance the accuracy and efficiency of our auto-tuning system.
Qualifications :
Technical Skills :
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python programming language, including data processing, analysis, and visualization libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Plotly).
- Strong understanding of distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop) for processing large datasets.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques, particularly those related to model training and validation.
- Experience with SQL and database systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data analysts, and product managers.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
