ServiceNow Developer (4-15 yrs)

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with over 4 years of experience to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that align with business requirements. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring system functionality, and maintaining the stability and performance of the platform.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and Development :

- Design and develop ServiceNow applications and solutions, including workflows, modules, forms, and dashboards.

- Customize and configure ServiceNow applications using scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, etc.) to meet business needs.

- Develop and enhance integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

Platform Administration:

- Perform platform maintenance, upgrades, and migrations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to maintain optimal performance.

- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and compliance standards.

Collaboration and Requirement Analysis:

- Work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and analyze requirements.

- Translate business needs into functional and technical designs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.

Customization and Automation :

- Automate business processes using ServiceNow capabilities like Flow Designer and Service Catalog.

- Create custom reports, dashboards, and performance analytics for monitoring and decision-making.

Documentation and Training :

- Document technical specifications, test cases, and user guides.

- Provide training and support to end-users on ServiceNow functionalities.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

- Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, including modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Glide Scripting.

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and data model.

- Experience with ServiceNow integration using REST/SOAP APIs.

- Familiarity with database concepts and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).

Certifications :

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is mandatory.

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist is a plus.
