Project Engineering focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project including Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc.

Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project.

May include preparing engineering standards, designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.

Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.

Tender Order stage engineering for new/augmentation/extension retrofitting jobs with primary secondary engineering knowledge.

Preparation of EHV, HV and LV AIS layouts, SLD based on documents during enquiry stage as solution.

Scope identification, Site survey, preparation of BOQ, prebid queries, basis, assumption, deviations, technical submission documents to client for approval, client office visit.

Co-ordination with internal departments, other business units, client, vendors, other contractors.

Inspection, vendor drawing review, schematics review.

Preparation of SLD, General Arrangement drawing, Electrical layout Plan sections, DSLP Layout, Erection key Diagram, Structural Layouts, Cable Routing Layouts, illumination layout Earth-mat layouts other associated drawings documents related to substations/switchyard etc.

Preparation of design calculations reports for short circuit forces, Direct Stroke Lightning Protection, Sag Tension, battery-charger sizing, Earth-mat Design, Spacer Span Calculations, illumination calculation, CT sizing, bus bar sizing, ampacity calculations, Cable sizing, relay setting calculations other associated calculations related to substations/switchyard etc.

Preparation of BOQ for equipment s, EKD, Earthing other associated systems, cable laying termination Schedule.
