Advanced Mechanical Engineer
Honeywell Thermal Solutions (HTS) is a business unit within Honeywell that specializes in providing innovative thermal management solutions. This unit focuses on optimizing efficiency and performance through a range of technologies and products aimed at managing temperature control across various applications.
- As an Advanced Mechanical Engineer here at HTS, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Mechanical and Piping Engineering skills to deliver innovative solutions that meet ever evolving needs of our customer. You will collaborate with team of engineers to design of Honeywell thermal system products using Industry-standard codes and Design practices.
- You will report directly to Engineering Manager, and youll work out from our Office in Chennai.
- In this role, you will have a significant impact on the development and implementation of mechanical solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and efficiency. Your ability to effectively manage projects, work with cross-functional teams, and provide technical guidance will be crucial to your success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and engineering of thermal systems
- Develop innovative mechanical solutions and delivers construction ready drawings and models
- Correct implementation and Execution of existing process and workflows, and identify opportunity for improvement.
- Utilize piping engineering knowledge to design and develop efficient systems solutions
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and efficiency
YOU MUST HAVE
bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering
15 plus years of experience in mechanical engineering which includes Design of Piping systems.
Experience with 3D product modeling software s (e.g Autodesk inventor or similar)
Knowledge on Piping layout and Process Instrumentation diagrams.
Experience with SAP
Experience with sheet metal fabrication and welding standards
Strong problem-solving and thoughtful skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
