Role & Responsibilities

1. Teaching:

* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Political Science for higher secondary classes (Grades IX to XII).

* Prepare students for board exams and competitive exams by ensuring conceptual clarity and analytical thinking.

2. Curriculum Development:

* Plan, design, and execute lesson plans in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.

* Update and adapt the syllabus based on recent changes in the political and social sciences landscape.

3. Student Engagement //Assessment::

* Facilitate debates, discussions, and projects to enhance critical thinking and awareness of political systems, governance, and current affairs.

* Provide individual attention and mentoring to students to improve their academic performance.

* Conduct regular tests, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate student understanding.

* Provide constructive feedback and track student progress.

* Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and reports.

* Participate in parent-teacher meetings and collaborate with other faculty members.

* Organize and oversee Model United Nations (MUN), mock elections, or other political science-related activities.

* Guide students in preparing for inter-school and intra-school competitions.

Preferred Candidate Profile

1. Educational Qualifications:

Masters degree in Political Science or related fields (mandatory).

B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).

2. Experience:

Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience at the CBSE senior secondary level (mandatory).

Freshers with strong academic backgrounds and teaching aptitude may also be considered.

3. Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to make the subject relatable through practical examples and current events.

Proficient in using technology and digital tools for teaching.
